Ordered as A80434, this is an AS568-434 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.6 in (142.24 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.15 in (156.21 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists hot water, brake fluids and phosphate esters, and high-temperature steam. Aflas (TFE/P) is valued for excellent electrical insulating properties and high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match. Rated temperature range runs from -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where some chlorinated solvents or low-temperature dynamic service are present.
