-438 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

The A80438 is an AS568-438 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 6.225 in (158.12 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.775 in (172.09 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Aflas (TFE/P) is valued for proven performance in aggressive downhole environments and excellent electrical insulating properties. The material holds up against sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, brake fluids and phosphate esters, and amines and corrosion inhibitors. Published continuous service range is -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or low-temperature dynamic service are present.
