APG stocks the A80446, an AS568-446 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 8.475 in (215.27 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.025 in (229.24 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The compound resists hot water, brake fluids and phosphate esters, and amines and corrosion inhibitors. Aflas (TFE/P) is known for excellent electrical insulating properties and high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match. Service temperature is rated from -25°F (-31.7°C) through 450°F (232.2°C).
