-451 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

The A80451 is an AS568-451 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 10.975 in (278.77 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.525 in (292.74 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified here for exceptional resistance to amine-based additives and high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match. Expect good resistance to high-temperature steam, amines and corrosion inhibitors, and brake fluids and phosphate esters. Rated temperature range runs from -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or low-temperature dynamic service.

It sees regular use in oil and gas production, power generation, and chemical processing.
