-462 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

The A80462 is an AS568-462 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 16.455 in (417.96 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 17.005 in (431.93 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against high-temperature steam, sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, and brake fluids and phosphate esters. Aflas (TFE/P) is widely chosen for excellent electrical insulating properties and exceptional resistance to amine-based additives. Published continuous service range is -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or low-temperature dynamic service.
