-904 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

A80904 is an AS568-904 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.351 in (8.92 mm), a cross section of 0.072 in (1.83 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.495 in (12.57 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Aflas (TFE/P) is known for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and exceptional resistance to amine-based additives. It resists brake fluids and phosphate esters, high-temperature steam, and amines and corrosion inhibitors. Rated temperature range runs from -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or some chlorinated solvents will shorten service life.

Common environments for this compound include oil and gas production, downhole tooling, and geothermal equipment.
