This thread seal is supplied in black Buna-N (Nitrile) supplied with an inside diameter of 0.625 in (15.88 mm), catalogued under part number AFS600-0101-5/8. It combines mechanical fastening and fluid sealing in a single component. The catalog record notes: Nitrile 70 - 5/8.

Expect good resistance to water, hydraulic fluids, and many alcohols. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or strong acids are present.
