Part number TES70465 is an AS568-465 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 17.955 in (456.06 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 18.505 in (470.03 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified for a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and strong resistance to permeation. Expect good resistance to strong acids and solvents, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges.

Typical settings include cryogenic and high-temperature equipment, food and beverage processing, and chemical processing.
