SB-H70215-100 is an AS568-215 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.046 in (26.57 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.324 in (33.63 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint. The catalog record notes: 1.3125IDX1.0625"ODX.125"CS.

The material holds up against propane and butane, hydraulic fluids, and water. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to polar solvents or automotive brake fluid will shorten service life.
