This o-ring is supplied in AS568-231 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 2.609 in (66.27 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.887 in (73.33 mm), catalogued under part number SB-H70231-3. This material stands up to petroleum-based oils, many alcohols, and propane and butane. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, low compression set under sustained load.
