This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Neoprene (Chloroprene) is specified for good resilience across a moderate temperature band and strong performance in refrigeration circuits. The compound resists moderate petroleum oil exposure, refrigerants and ammonia, and mild acids. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated solvents.
