The N70350 is an AS568-350 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.6 in (116.84 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.02 in (127.51 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Neoprene (Chloroprene) is specified here for good resilience across a moderate temperature band and strong performance in refrigeration circuits. This material stands up to sunlight and salt spray, refrigerants and ammonia, and ozone and weathering. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to strong oxidizing acids or aromatic hydrocarbons will shorten service life.
