The N70004 is an AS568-004 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.21 in (5.33 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Neoprene (Chloroprene) delivers good resilience across a moderate temperature band, a balanced combination of oil and weather resistance. The compound resists refrigerants and ammonia, ozone and weathering, and sunlight and salt spray. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or strong oxidizing acids are present.
