-005 BLACK CHLOROPRENE 70D O-RING

The N70005 is an AS568-005 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.101 in (2.57 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.241 in (6.12 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Neoprene (Chloroprene) is specified here for dependable general-purpose sealing in exposed installations and good resilience across a moderate temperature band. Expect good resistance to moderate petroleum oil exposure, sunlight and salt spray, and mild acids. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or strong oxidizing acids.
