-017 BLACK CHLOROPRENE 70D O-RING

N70017 is an AS568-017 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.676 in (17.17 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.816 in (20.73 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Neoprene (Chloroprene) is widely chosen for inherent flame-retarding characteristics and good resilience across a moderate temperature band. The compound resists sunlight and salt spray, refrigerants and ammonia, and mild acids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or ketones will shorten service life.
