N70021 is an AS568-021 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.926 in (23.52 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.066 in (27.08 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists sunlight and salt spray, refrigerants and ammonia, and mild acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Neoprene (Chloroprene) is widely chosen for good resilience across a moderate temperature band, a balanced combination of oil and weather resistance. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
