The N70026 is an AS568-026 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.239 in (31.47 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.379 in (35.03 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Neoprene (Chloroprene) is valued for good resilience across a moderate temperature band, a balanced combination of oil and weather resistance. It resists ozone and weathering, refrigerants and ammonia, and moderate petroleum oil exposure. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or chlorinated solvents will shorten service life.
