-031 BLACK CHLOROPRENE 70D O-RING

N70031 is an AS568-031 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.739 in (44.17 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.879 in (47.73 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists sunlight and salt spray, mild acids, and refrigerants and ammonia. Neoprene (Chloroprene) is valued for a balanced combination of oil and weather resistance, inherent flame-retarding characteristics. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where chlorinated solvents or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.

It sees regular use in HVAC and refrigeration, general industrial, and transit and rail.
