-042 BLACK CHLOROPRENE 70D O-RING

The N70042 is an AS568-042 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.239 in (82.27 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.379 in (85.83 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Neoprene (Chloroprene) delivers strong performance in refrigeration circuits and good resilience across a moderate temperature band. It resists mild acids, sunlight and salt spray, and moderate petroleum oil exposure. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where chlorinated solvents or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.
