-105 BLACK CHLOROPRENE 70D O-RING

The N70105 is an AS568-105 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.143 in (3.63 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.349 in (8.86 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to moderate petroleum oil exposure, sunlight and salt spray, and refrigerants and ammonia. Neoprene (Chloroprene) is widely chosen for good resilience across a moderate temperature band and inherent flame-retarding characteristics. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving strong oxidizing acids or aromatic hydrocarbons call for a different compound.

Typical settings include HVAC and refrigeration, general industrial, and transit and rail.
