Product Specification

-
Part number N70111 is an AS568-111 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.424 in (10.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.63 in (16 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Neoprene (Chloroprene) delivers a balanced combination of oil and weather resistance, inherent flame-retarding characteristics. Expect good resistance to sunlight and salt spray, refrigerants and ammonia, and ozone and weathering. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or strong oxidizing acids are present.

It sees regular use in weather sealing and enclosures, marine equipment, and transit and rail.

Order part number N70111, sold individually. Unit weight is approximately 0.3232 g. Confirm chemical compatibility, pressure and temperature against your own application requirements before installing.
