-144 BLACK CHLOROPRENE 70D O-RING

The N70144 is an AS568-144 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.487 in (63.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.693 in (68.4 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Neoprene (Chloroprene) is widely chosen for a balanced combination of oil and weather resistance, good resilience across a moderate temperature band. This material stands up to moderate petroleum oil exposure, sunlight and salt spray, and mild acids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated solvents.
