N70149 is an AS568-149 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.8 in (71.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.006 in (76.35 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Neoprene (Chloroprene) offers a balanced combination of oil and weather resistance, inherent flame-retarding characteristics. Expect good resistance to moderate petroleum oil exposure, ozone and weathering, and refrigerants and ammonia. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated solvents.
