This o-ring is supplied in AS568-203 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 0.296 in (7.52 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.574 in (14.58 mm), catalogued under part number N70203. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

This material stands up to ozone and weathering, refrigerants and ammonia, and mild acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Neoprene (Chloroprene) is widely chosen for strong performance in refrigeration circuits, a balanced combination of oil and weather resistance.
