Ordered as N70209, this is an AS568-209 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.671 in (17.04 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.949 in (24.1 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Neoprene (Chloroprene) is known for good resilience across a moderate temperature band and dependable general-purpose sealing in exposed installations. The material holds up against mild acids, refrigerants and ammonia, and ozone and weathering. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated solvents.
