Ordered as N70268, this is an AS568-268 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.484 in (215.49 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.762 in (222.55 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists refrigerants and ammonia, sunlight and salt spray, and ozone and weathering. Neoprene (Chloroprene) offers a balanced combination of oil and weather resistance, good resilience across a moderate temperature band. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where strong oxidizing acids or ketones are present.
