-309 BLACK CHLOROPRENE 70D O-RING

The N70309 is an AS568-309 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.412 in (10.46 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.832 in (21.13 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Neoprene (Chloroprene) delivers inherent flame-retarding characteristics and good resilience across a moderate temperature band. The material holds up against sunlight and salt spray, ozone and weathering, and mild acids. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or aromatic hydrocarbons.

It sees regular use in weather sealing and enclosures, general industrial, and marine equipment.
