The N70316 is an AS568-316 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.85 in (21.59 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.27 in (32.26 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Neoprene (Chloroprene) is specified here for inherent flame-retarding characteristics and strong performance in refrigeration circuits. Expect good resistance to sunlight and salt spray, moderate petroleum oil exposure, and mild acids. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or chlorinated solvents are present.
