The N70317 is an AS568-317 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.912 in (23.16 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.332 in (33.83 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Neoprene (Chloroprene) offers a balanced combination of oil and weather resistance, strong performance in refrigeration circuits. Expect good resistance to sunlight and salt spray, ozone and weathering, and refrigerants and ammonia. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to ketones or chlorinated solvents will shorten service life.
