Part number N70348 is an AS568-348 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.35 in (110.49 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.77 in (121.16 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Neoprene (Chloroprene) is specified for good resilience across a moderate temperature band and strong performance in refrigeration circuits. This material stands up to sunlight and salt spray, refrigerants and ammonia, and mild acids. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or chlorinated solvents are present.
