N70360 is an AS568-360 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.85 in (148.59 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.27 in (159.26 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists moderate petroleum oil exposure, sunlight and salt spray, and mild acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Neoprene (Chloroprene) is widely chosen for inherent flame-retarding characteristics, a balanced combination of oil and weather resistance.
