The N70374 is an AS568-374 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 9.225 in (234.32 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.645 in (244.98 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Neoprene (Chloroprene) offers a balanced combination of oil and weather resistance, inherent flame-retarding characteristics. The compound resists mild acids, sunlight and salt spray, and refrigerants and ammonia. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
