N70377 is an AS568-377 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 9.975 in (253.37 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.395 in (264.03 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Neoprene (Chloroprene) is valued for inherent flame-retarding characteristics and good resilience across a moderate temperature band. It resists mild acids, sunlight and salt spray, and moderate petroleum oil exposure. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or aromatic hydrocarbons.

Typical settings include weather sealing and enclosures, HVAC and refrigeration, and transit and rail.
