Neoprene (Chloroprene) is widely chosen for dependable general-purpose sealing in exposed installations and inherent flame-retarding characteristics. This material stands up to refrigerants and ammonia, ozone and weathering, and moderate petroleum oil exposure. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
