-425 BLACK CHLOROPRENE 70D O-RING

The N70425 is an AS568-425 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.475 in (113.67 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.025 in (127.64 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Neoprene (Chloroprene) is valued for dependable general-purpose sealing in exposed installations, a balanced combination of oil and weather resistance. It resists sunlight and salt spray, refrigerants and ammonia, and mild acids. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or ketones.
