The N70443 is an AS568-443 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.475 in (189.87 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.025 in (203.84 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Neoprene (Chloroprene) delivers inherent flame-retarding characteristics, a balanced combination of oil and weather resistance. Expect good resistance to refrigerants and ammonia, ozone and weathering, and sunlight and salt spray. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).

It sees regular use in marine equipment, general industrial, and weather sealing and enclosures.
