N70445 is an AS568-445 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.975 in (202.57 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.525 in (216.54 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Neoprene (Chloroprene) offers good resilience across a moderate temperature band, a balanced combination of oil and weather resistance. The material holds up against sunlight and salt spray, moderate petroleum oil exposure, and mild acids. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
