N70447 is an AS568-447 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 8.975 in (227.97 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.525 in (241.94 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

It resists refrigerants and ammonia, mild acids, and sunlight and salt spray. Neoprene (Chloroprene) offers dependable general-purpose sealing in exposed installations and inherent flame-retarding characteristics. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or chlorinated solvents are present.
