N70466 is an AS568-466 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 18.455 in (468.76 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 19.005 in (482.73 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Neoprene (Chloroprene) is specified here for good resilience across a moderate temperature band and dependable general-purpose sealing in exposed installations. Expect good resistance to moderate petroleum oil exposure, sunlight and salt spray, and ozone and weathering. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
