The N70911 is an AS568-911 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.863 in (21.92 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.095 in (27.81 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Neoprene (Chloroprene) is specified here for dependable general-purpose sealing in exposed installations, balanced combination of oil and weather resistance. This material stands up to refrigerants and ammonia, sunlight and salt spray, and ozone and weathering. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
