2.5MM CS X 31MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

Ordered as E2.5X31, this is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 31 mm (1.22 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 36 mm (1.42 in). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists dilute acids and alkalis, ketones, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons call for a different compound.
