APG stocks the E2X54, a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 54 mm (2.126 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 58 mm (2.28 in). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. This material stands up to ketones, water and steam, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels.
