Part number E70NSF015 is an AS568-015 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.551 in (14 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.691 in (17.55 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is known for excellent hot water and steam resistance, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. The compound resists ozone, UV and weathering, dilute acids and alkalis, and ketones. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels will shorten service life.
