-021 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

E70021 is an AS568-021 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.926 in (23.52 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.066 in (27.08 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) offers outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, excellent hot water and steam resistance. This material stands up to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, brake fluid, and ketones. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Verify compatibility before use with aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels.

Typical settings include outdoor equipment, water and steam systems, and brake and phosphate ester systems.
