This o-ring is supplied in AS568-022 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 0.989 in (25.12 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.129 in (28.68 mm), catalogued under part number E70NSF022. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Expect good resistance to ozone, UV and weathering, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and dilute acids and alkalis. EPDM (EPR) is known for good electrical insulating characteristics, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels are present.
