-049 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70049 is an AS568-049 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.989 in (126.72 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.129 in (130.28 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, ketones, and water and steam. EPDM (EPR) is known for excellent hot water and steam resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. Exposure to mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons will shorten service life.
