This o-ring is supplied in AS568-107 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 0.206 in (5.23 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.412 in (10.46 mm), catalogued under part number E70NSF107. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The compound resists ozone, UV and weathering, brake fluid, and dilute acids and alkalis. EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, excellent hot water and steam resistance.
