E70127 is an AS568-127 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.424 in (36.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.63 in (41.4 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists ozone, UV and weathering, dilute acids and alkalis, and ketones. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is known for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service.
