-142 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70142 is an AS568-142 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.362 in (59.99 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.568 in (65.23 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) offers strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, good electrical insulating characteristics. The material holds up against ozone, UV and weathering, ketones, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels.
