E70166 is an AS568-166 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.737 in (171.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.943 in (176.35 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

EPDM (EPR) is specified for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. This material stands up to water and steam, ketones, and dilute acids and alkalis. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C).
